I live in Mar del Plata, Argentina. My career in architecture morphed quickly after the birth of my first child. My growing love for children's books inspired me to venture into book illustration. For over a decade, I've joyously followed my passion for drawing and illustration.

Cricket on the Stairs by Marianne Stanley

Based on a true story, Cricket on the Stairs is about Cookie, a little cricket who goes on a great adventure inside a downtown building only to discover that she cannot find her way out and back to her home and family in the park where she lives. This is ultimately a story about how important it is to never, ever give up since we never know just how close we really are to what we are seeking in our lives.

The author of this book is not an author in the true sense of the word. He is an engineer, a manufacturing executive, and an inventor. More importantly, though, he is a father. It was storytime with his young children, Megan & Brian, that was the inspiration for this story. The kids preferred "made up stories" to just reading a book.
